Sculptor, working mainly with marble, ceramics, silver, and wood. Between 1971-1976 he studied at the Sculpture Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. While still in college he received an award from the Minister of Culture and Art reserved for the best art students. At the start of his career, he created portrait sculptures; he also dealt with monumental sculpture and land art. From 1981, he turned to small sculptural forms, creating works with intimate character; he also used a unique embossing technique while working with silver.
